Students enjoyed learning these new techniques and will be able to incorporate them into their GCSE portfolio work.
Salma, Year 10, stated: “I loved working with Luisa as she offered an alternative way of drawing and looking at portraiture, I can use Luisa’s charcoal technique in my work as it will make drawing portraits much easier!”
Afsana, Year 11, said: “The merging of different drawings into one another was a really fun technique, I loved how it the overlapping drawings created a sense of movement, I will definitely be developing this technique further in my own exam project as it links perfectly with my theme.”
Many thanks to Luisa for showing us these new techniques, it was an extremely enjoyable day which benefited KS4 Art students in the development of their GCSE projects.
Also a big thank you to Wafa 9L and Ayah 9U for being our life models, they were brilliant!
